PURE TONE AUDIOMETRY
It is a standard hearing test used to determine hearing sensitivity. This test involve patient wears headphones and respond to the sound heard, It access the ability to hear various frequencies, intencities, and other issues related to the function of the inner ear.
TYMPANOMETRY
This test involves placing a small ear probe into the ear. This test helps to evaluate the condition of the middle ear and the mobility of the tympanic membrane (Ear Drum) by creating variations of air pressure in the ear canal.
HEARING AID TRAIL
Done for person with hearing loss to evaluate their effectiveness and suitability using hearing aids. This allows the individual to experience the benefits and any potential drawbacks of devices before making final purchases.
SPECIAL TESTS
Sisi- Asses the ability of the auditory system to detect small changes in loudness. This tone helps to differentiate between cochlear (Inner Ear) and retrocochlear (Beyond the cochlea) hearing loss.
TDT- evaluate auditory nerve function by measuring the ability to sustain hearing a tone over a period of time. This test helps to identify retrocochlear pathology.
SPEECH AUDIOMETRY
Evaluate an individual’s ability to detect and understand speech. The audiologist presents spoken words and the patient repeats the word they hear.
SPEECH THERAPY
Speech therapy is the is treatment for those having speech and other kinds of problems with spoken and written language, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and auditory processing disorder
